π constant

1. Definition

π is the number of diameters in circle's length. In other words, if one has circle of d diameter, then π is the multiplier for getting the circle's length:

L = πd

π is irratioanl number and has no exact representation in decimal notation. Double precision of the calculator gives π as 3.1415926535897931.

2. How to use

Use the constant as number substitute in your expressions:

π+1;

or

pi+1;
